why so unappreciative?

When I came across really good food, I brought it back home to share with them.
But what you I back in return was,
" why you buy this? why you come home so late? why buy such big portion?"

When I came across a good restaurant, I brought them there thinking they will love it too.
But what I got back in return was,
"the matar road one tastes better."

So I've decided to give up.

Wish me all the luck on my next interview.
Cos I really wanna leave.
